Internet everywhere, for everything.

Vice President of Design

At Hologram, I lead the product design, user research, and brand design teams. We're building a design-driven cellular network for millions of devices in over 200 countries.

Hologram’s global cellular platform helps IoT (Internet of Things) devices — from electric scooter fleets, to autonomous vehicles, to smart agriculture equipment, field sensors, connected cameras, and delivery drones — access cellular service in hundreds countries around the world, across over 500 local cellular operators.

Our network blends multiple carriers in every country, eliminating dead zones. We simplifying the process of prototyping, piloting, and scaling cellular IoT deployments with a platform that cuts the bullshit and red tape of larger network operators. Customers manage their fleet through a visually gorgeous dashboard that helps entire teams collaborate easily, work smarter, and save countless hours spent manually managing devices. Every touchpoint is highly designed: from activation to device management to financial reporting.

Unlike many technology organizations, design sits as a peer to product, engineering, and growth. With the mission of advocating for our customers, we have the seat at the table and a mandate to deliver the best experience for every team that uses our platform.

Clients can access our global cellular network — with multi-carrier redundancy from a single SIM card.

Our goal on the design team is to reduce the time our client's spend in our software. In our latest release, we designed experiences that help find devices needing their attention, take necessary action, and then get back to their normal work.

Hologram's "Inflight" product helps clients manage by exception — focusing only on devices that require their attention.

Most platforms inundate users with cluttered interfaces and complex industry jargon. The Hologram Dashboard removes UI and processes as a feature. Our tight user research, design, and engineering processes ensure customers have a seamless experience — from data plans, onboarding, to scaling and troubleshooting.

Clients are provided a visually stunning dashboard to easily track device behavior around the world.

Hologram’s Dashboard has been designed to make it easy to dig into how your devices operate on the platform. You can “double click” into device behavior using our Inspect tool. This distraction-free environment provides a space to review individual devices or export data to further investigate in your team’s business intelligence tools.

Hologram's Inspect feature provides a jumping off point for device usage management.

When it’s time to dive into a single device, our Dashboard provides every detail clients need to support their on-the-ground efforts:

You can easily dive into into specific devices and monitor their performance.

As part of my role as head of design, brand, and research, we launched a new design system, nicknamed Stellar. With Stellar, we've launched new consistent reporting flows, data visualization patterns, and integrated guidance to manage and automate your deployment.

Along with our efforts designing the best-in-class cellular platform, the design team at Hologram publishes an online journal documenting dark patterns, named Dark Mode.
